A Warm Welcome
From our Headteacher
Sarah Harridge, Headteacher
As the Headteacher, I’m thrilled to welcome you to Brierley. A new Special Educational Needs school serving our local community in East Leeds. While we wait for our permanent building at Cross Green Lane, we’re delighted to base ourselves at Co-op Academy Nightingale. A ‘Good’ primary school with a brand new £3.5 million building. This website will share exciting information and updates with you in the run up to the opening of our brand new purpose built school in September 2024. Co-op Academies Trust is proud to run two successful special schools, serving children and their families for 12 years, whilst maintaining their Ofsted rating of ‘Good with Outstanding features’. More on Co-op Academy Delius and Co-op Academy Southfield The Co-op’s core values emphasise community and participation. We’re looking forward to working with parents, carers and families to make a difference in our children’s lives. To help them grow up and become confident, resilient and independent young people as they prepare for life after school. I look forward to growing and developing our school with you all.
